After many tests and mistakes, I'm claiming this is done.

We forgot, when defining this task, about the component of work needed to set up access to the repository, ie changing the webserver so it knows about the new repository.

The shell scripts to do the import and some tests of the repository access will go into the repository shortly and get linked from here.
