Description
Test that it is possible to pull updates from the RCS version of miriad and apply them to the appropriate branch of the subversion system.
First just use the default branch. But we will have to maintain separation of the 'MRC' and 'M4C' versions.

adding files from RCS to an existing svn repository, and keeping the history, turns out to be tricky. I spent a few hours trying different things and reading the documentation.

We decided to dispense with this; just cut over one day and make no further RCS updates. That day is today, 2008-01-21.
