Description
I am trying to save my data to a sdfits files. I find I *cant* do this is I have averaged the two polarizations together (which has the label "stokes"), but I do not (ie I keep the two separate linear polarizations), then I *can* save the data in an sdfits file. An error message comes up saying that the "stokes" format is not supported.
There is no problem with saving the data as an ascii file, whether both polarizations there or just one.
