It would be good to have the /pulsar disk visible for www-data, so that the pulsar software can be run. This is necessary because we would like to be able to run "psrcat" from the php file, to obtain RA and DEC positions for a given pulsar name (so that survey files can be searched for a given pulsar). |

Currently, all the table parameters are selectable on the main query page. I have removed from view the data_loc and file_size_bytes parameters, as these should not be publicly visible. However, it would be good to have a default list of parameters (e.g. filename, RA, DEC, date, time, freq, integration time, data_type) and have the others available for selection by the user if they are interested in them. In this case we could also probably remove the "Show all"/"Hide all" option, and just have them all visible, perhaps below the main selection boxes. |

The perl script source:trunk/htdocs/perl/find_archives.pl needs to be updated to account for the changed database schema. We will also need to change the way vap is used, as there is a problem running vap on herschel. Perhaps we could write out the table of additions to a text file, and then import the text file into the database via a command sent over ssh? Either that, or find some way of connecting to the database (which resides on herschel) remotely, e.g. from tycho. |
