Minutes

• proposed changes seem ok. (​submitted report)
• budget is ok, data was pulled from "ATNF Operating Statement Dec08.xls" on Caroline Barne's machine. Unclear if this document is available on a network share.
• Zoom bands h/w all there but not all working yet (firmware is the blocker)
• basic reading of data files (ATLOD) works (ticket:18)
• will need to change RPFITS to allow for more simultaneous IFs (current limit 16?) (ticket:75)
• aim to release stage 1 by 1 May 2009.
• JS reported Maxim Voronkov and Robin Wark were using the system and looking at data. Baerbel Koribalski asked PhilEdwards? for some 'scientific commissioning' time (update: this was granted).
• EL described the 'CDFS' field that could be used for testing dynamic range limits. No proposal in for this yet (not much point until we're sure the basics work). A proposal for a bright, extended object (Pictor A) has been submitted.

Actions

• VM: update wiki with new schedule/milestones (when approved by PRB)
• MW: check fits can read/write files larger than 2Gb. (ticket:67)
• MW: complete changes to invert
• MW: have another go at divide & conquer script
• VM: sort out location in miriad tree for things like the d&c script.
• VM: set up trac access for JS and EL (done)
• JS: continue to take data and process
