Description
Hi- I am currently observing with Mopra and the computer staff back at my institution (Boston University) is having trouble installing ASAP on our new machine. Here is his summary of the issue:
Here's some info. I've tried to install ASAP from the asap-2.2.0-ubuntu-dapper binaries. Mako [our new computer] is currently running Ubuntu Hardy (8.04.1) as Ubuntu Dapper is now obsolete. We're using the 64bit version too. I tried to find an updated version of ASAP, but the next closest on was for Debian Sarge (not supported anymore). This is the error message I get when trying to install:
root@mako:~/asap-2.2.0-ubuntu-dapper# ./install Looking fo all required libraries...
The following libraries are missing:
['libpython2.4.so.1.0', 'libboost_python-gcc-mt-1_33_1.so.1.33.1', 'libcfitsio.so.2', 'liblapack.so.3', 'libblas.so.3', 'libg2c.so.0', 'libstdc++.so.6', 'libgcc_s.so.1']
I know those libraries are on the machine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,
I don't have access to a 64bit machine until next week.
For now I have added a package for ubuntu hardy 32bit.
see ftp.atnf.csiro.au/pub/software/asap/current/
You (your sysadmin) also need to install
refblas3 lapack3 libboost-python1.34.1 libcfitsio3 libg2c0 libstdc++6 python-matplotlib python-tk ipython

I have also added a 64bit version to the ftp archive.
have fun.
Hi,
I will try and make a binary for hardy. Do you need both 32bit and 64bit?
Cheers, Malte.
