Minutes

• Emil sent MarkW a copy of his 'plotvis' program to try. Main change is an ad-hoc spectral index correction.
  Can build it on cancer, binary runs on all macs.
• snow leopard - quotes obtained, orders placed for license packs and a new mini. However orders are stuck while CSIRO procurement negotiates a new supplier agreement with Apple. Not sure how long that will take.
• PGFLAG - couple more bugs found & fixed.
  • Nobody's had time to look at it carefully.
  • discussion regarding UI zooming. Tricky because not all PGPLOT devices support click & drag.
  • keyboard mappings - allow config file to override?

• MarkW managed to break atlod, now fixed. New birdie,rfi options appropriate to CABB have been added.
• Emil working on long obs of 1934-638 from commissioning data (6cm). Noticed strange behaviour of phase across bandpass for baselines connected to antenna 6. Could be atmosphere, recall WEW demonstration in ATUC talk.

  • by the end of October, some capability should be available for testing by observatory staff
