PRB status report

reviewed what the project stages mean.

• stage 1 is basically changes atlod and invert
• stage 2 is getting 'divide & conquer' processing going
• stage 3 is cross-calibration of zoom bands from the wide band data

CABB h/w status

WEW reports

• 3 antennae going in 1-2 weeks.
  Not full b/w for 4-6 weeks at least (not enough processing boards built yet)
  Five antennae, 1 freq, over 2GHz by 1 October?
• shutdown for full install now Mar/Apr? 2009

Project plan

• zoom bands may not come along for a long time - defer work on this
• 2GHz bandwidth will give 25% fractional b/w at X-band
• MW availablity - looks ok
• divide & conquer - what to we implement?
  

one script per calibration task, or one master script?
uvsplit could split data into 128MHz chunks
atlod doesn't care what the input b/w is
bbcal - likely to be a shell script
