• CABB progress status discussed; recent report to ATUC (see ​https://svn.atnf.csiro.au/trac/atoperations/wiki/CABB/Status_2008-05-07)
  • Final CABB installation delayed until late January 2009
  • Interim CABB still on track for July 2008: 5 antennas, 1 frequency.
• Mark Wieringa on leave from 27 June - 21 July
• Vince on BETR training 2,3,4 June
• Mark: BETR training 26 May
• Mark, Dave meet in Marsfield for architecture discussions: 27-28 May.
• We see late May until 26 June as a critical period for miriad work. The first CABB data files will become available (we think) in the latter part of May. The first observation is scheduled (C1798 Lommen, 3mm) is on 30 June. The sequence might be:
  • get access to trial rpfits file, and test loading into miriad
  • discuss with Warwick issues arising on calibration processes such as multi-frequency Tsys measurements and access to them
  • development of file generation and miriad to establish an efficient process
  • release to early users for testing.
• Mark's time will be precious in that period. David Brodrick and Euan Troup are on leave at present but return to work week after next. NASA tracking has the potential to demand Mark's time. This should be resisted if possible.
• Vince reported on discussions with Juan-Carlos on code reviews. Need a code standard to make these worthy of the effort. Again pointed to site that supports code reviews ​http://www.review-board.org/.
