Description
Dan Marrone (dmarrone@…) asked if it would be feasible to ATLOD & ATFIX some CABB data but then do further processing with e.g. the SMA or CARMA forks of MIRIAD.
The issue this brings up is how CABB-specific our changes to tasks like INVERT and so on are going to be. For those tasks we should be thinking of the CABB data quite abstractly, as just a (large!) UV data set with lots of channels and possibly large fractional bandwidth. The same question arises if, in a year or two, someone wants to process E-VLA data in MIRIAD.
