COMMAND NAME:	type

TYPE:		Data selection

SYNTAX:		"type 0 1 2 3"

DESCRIPTION:

Sets the type data selection parameter.  Only records of the
specified type(s) will pass the data editing functions in "read",
"edit" and "plot".  The digits 0, 1, 2 and 3 can occur anywhere in the 
argument.  Omission of the arguments implies "type 0123".
