Most users install [miriad: Miriad] from pre-built ''binary'' packages available for a variety of platforms from the [ftp://ftp.atnf.csiro.au/pub/software/miriad Miriad FTP repository].  However, Miriad may be built from its [ftp://ftp.atnf.csiro.au/pub/software/miriad/miriad-code.tar.gz source code] via a simple ''configure/make'' process.  The [ftp://ftp.atnf.csiro.au/pub/software/miriad/miriad-rcs.tar.gz RCS version files] are also available if you wish to track changes.  Contributions of bug fixes or improvements are most welcome.
