 Future of Miriad::
  There has been a recent meeting of "Miriad future directions panel", regarding a possible move towards CASA for certain reduction processes. We will discuss current outcomes from that.

== Minutes ==
 * WCS changes were summarised by Mark C.
   * 5 stages, the first two of which are complete
   * now possible to regrid images to non-parameterised projections
   * work is continuing on parameterised projections, spectral coordinates and visualisation task changes
 * Mark C. has been working on RPFITS format changes to allow more sources
 * Mark W. has altered ATLOD to read in on-the-fly mosaics, and record the direction of travel
   * primary beam models have also been changed to allow for correction of OTF mosaic smeared beams
 * Vince has recently written his project review document, and is currently with Mark B. for comments
   * CABB changes for Miriad are mostly finished, and now maintenance is the most common Miriad activity
   * some more changes may come out of the upcoming "future of Miriad" review
 * the kaputar 'miriad-cabb' installation should be removed
 * Mark W. summarised the "future of Miriad" terms-of-reference meeting
   * we now have an idea on what to discuss
   * need lists of data reduction problems to proceed
   * parallelisation of Miriad code was discussed
 * Vince has filed a Miriad bug
   * Mike K. was unable to build against Miriad on a 64-bit Mac OSX install
   * will eventually add darwin64 installation target
