= bbcal script =

The task bbcal is a proposed new script based task to do broad band calibration using the 'divide and conquer' approach, i.e., split up the 2 GHz CABB band into a number of sub-bands for which the existing calibration tasks are adequate. It will be most useful at the lower frequencies where variation of instrumental parameters across the band and spectral curvature effects may affect calibration.

 * secondary calibrator1 [, secondary 2, ...]
 * list of bands to process (create sub bands with [wiki:Changes/uvsplit uvsplit])
 * source1 [,source2, ...]
 * usual calibration parameters for gpcal, mfcal, gpboot [may limit these to bare essentials, for anything fancy suggest editing of a copy of the script]

 * Calibrated data for source1 [,source2, ...] in separate files
